It took a few days but we finally got the rebar done and we are ready for concrete! I had no idea that the demand for concrete was so high. We faced a 7 day wait because all companies we booked solid. Now we can slow down and rest for a few days while we wait.
The closest a cement truck can get to the foundation is about 250 yards. I ordered 4 yards of concrete so using wheel barrels will be impossible. The solution – a Georgia Buggy. This delay will give me time to find a Georgia Buggy – which is a motorized huge wheel barrel (capacity is equivalent to more than ten wheel barrels). This will allow me to get the work done in the 45 minutes we are allocated.
